Pearl Wax vs Sugaring: Which one is the best for you?

We only offer the best of the best. And when it comes down to hair removal, our favorites are absolutely sugaring and pearl wax (not to be confused with traditional hard wax). But what exactly are they? What are the differences and which one is best for you? We'll answer all of that in this blog article, so keep on reading!

What is sugaring?

Sugaring is a way of removing hair that uses a sugar paste mixed with lemon juice and sugar. Yes, this is 100% natural we make it from scratch ourselves. Fun fact about sugaring: This is a very old method. People in ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece have been using this method for years, so this is a tried and proven method.

What makes sugaring so special?

Well for starters, the hairs are removed in the direction they naturally grow and sugaring also pulls less on the skin (Bonus: It's not sticky!). Thanks to that, you will have a lot less irritation and redness compared to traditional waxing. Because it is a natural paste, this is perfect if you are prone to skin allergies or have sensitive skin. And also if you prefer an organic, natural, and gluten-free approach to life, this is the method for you. If you have fine hair, this is an option worth considering

What is pearl wax?

Pearl Wax is not to be confused with traditional wax. Unlike traditional wax, Pearl Wax is made of hard wax beans that have to be melted down with the help of a Wax Heater. Once the Pearl Wax has melted down, it can be applied to the desired body part. We also don't use any strips for this, we apply directly onto your skin.

What makes pearl wax so special?

Pearl Wax doesn’t stick to the skin, it sticks to the hair. So the removal process is less painful and less messy than traditional wax. You won't have to worry about rashes, cuts, and irritation, you will only feel the actual removal of the hair. Not only that, but when pearl wax is applied, it is the same temperature as your body, so there are no burns to worry about. Pearl wax, just as the name suggests, will give you pearl-like super-smooth results.

So which one is best for me?

Sugaring is best for people with skin allergies, severe skin sensitivity, or who prefer a 100% natural alternative for waxing. Also, it's a very good option for people with fine hair.

Pearl Wax on the other hand is best for those who want an almost pain-free alternative for waxing that leaves you with super-smooth results. And it is great for people with thicker hair.
